The Radcliffe School - Milton Keynes
Tearing up the 'old skool sports rule book' we have developed and fine tuned our schools module to offer the students a truly unique,
adrenalin filled, exhilarating experience inviting them into the world of extreme sports and mountain biking. Our mountain biking module goes further than just a sport it offers them:
- new bike skills
- self confidence
- a sense of accomplishment
- respecting and looking out for others
- map reading skills
- bike maintenance
- nutrition and healthy eating
- endurance and fitness
- respecting the enviroment
But most importatly all this is done whilst having fun and enjoying this new found experience. Let your students 'Ride the Dream' with MTB Instruction. Courses are run over a 6 week term and can be run as an after-school club or during curriculum PE. For more information and a copy of our schools pack please contact Mark

"MTB Instruction has just completed an excellent six week experience for our students as part of our Volunteering and Leadership Hub sessions. The students really improved their cycling skills and their overall confidence during these sessions, and we identified some really talented riders that we hope to develop further.
The instructors ensured the activities were challenging and differentiated as we had a real range of riding and experience and a few characters within the group. The students felt that they were taking risks even though it was all managed in a controlled and safe manner by the instructors.
The students were involved in our recent Parents Evening demonstrating their new skills to our Prospective Year 7 students, which certainly added a new dimension to the evening! All of the students have signed up for a further six weeks which tells me all I need to know about the quality of the experience. We look forward to the next half term, when they will be able to experience night riding through the woods!"

Emergency Rescue Corps – Gozo Malta
Youth Inspired - Northamptonshire
MTB instruction were contacted by Emergency Rescue corps with regards to a possible mountain bike training module suitable for their volunteer organisation based in Gozo Malta.
The organisation offers additional support to local emergency services by means of instant response via mountain bikes covering urban and off road scenarios.
The logistics offered MTB instruction a real challenge, but working closely with the client a training module was developed covering all aspects of MTB Instruction's introductory, schools and youth courses to enable the Emergency Rescue corps to deliver their outstanding service to the community professionally and safely.
The mountain bike training module was delivered in electronic and hard copy formats with the initial coaching session delivered direct to the client lead and the local volunteers, to enable them to carry the mountain bike training forward for any new volunteers wishing to join the Emergency Rescue Corps.
Schools and youth projects are key social aspects that enhance and enrich students lives at all levels and MTB Instruction are at the forefront in delivering enhancement programs to this rewarding area.
Personal recommendation led to Wootton Community and Sports Centre contacting MTB Instruction to deliver a week long coaching sessions for their Youth Inspired project.
An initial meeting to discuss the Youth Inspired objectives led us to develop a week long course of mountain bike coaching that would enthuse and energize the students who could be from unstable or socially challenged backgrounds, and from many different areas.
The course was based on the schools mountain bike training module but condensed into a week long programme.
The delivery and positive outcome was truly amazing from the students perspective as we enter our second year of delivering the course.
MTB Instruction have now been asked to organise a more advanced MTB training session for returning students alongside the week long introduction course provided.
MTB Instruction take so many positives from these introduction courses, seeing students gel and flourish in self esteem and confidence, leaders emerge that would otherwise go unnoticed; they are inspired along with us.
