Hi! Before you take that plunge into the exciting exhilarating world of mountain biking,
or if you're sitting there eager to enhance your ride portfolio with that drop off, chute, downhill or technical section
you have been dying to nail, here's a little about me.
I have been mountain biking for over two decades now shredding the trails around Woburn Sands and the Brickhills.
I run a local MTB club, organize mountain biking trips both home and abroad and have raced XC at club level.
Mountain biking has taken me all over the world trail wise sampling different terrains and attitudes to our chosen extreme sport
all of which have helped build on my own experience.
The last couple of years have been spent building on my downhill and freeride skills.
All this experience, along with trail maintenance and building, has given me a truly comprehensive ride portfolio.
Completing my MIAS level 2,
mountain/outdoor first aid,
and bike maintenance courses and starting MTB clubs have only stood to enhance my portolio even more by enabling me to pass on my experience,
passion and dedication to those looking to enter the sport of mountain biking or build on their mountain bike experience.
What mtb instruction offers is 'all you need to enjoy the ride'; so what you waiting for? 'Ride the Dream' with us.
Thanks and hope to see you on the trails soon, Mark

I've been riding since I was knee high to a grasshopper, but it's in the last 5 years that things have taken a turn, and become more focused and addictive.
It was only after advice from the doc to go out and do more exercise that I looked at MTB. I was like the majority of people new to the sport, nervous and unsure if this was for me. I was extremely luckly to be taken under the wing of a local club who were able to give me advice and knowledge, and the help I needed to get on my bike and ride.
After numerous trips to Wales and Scotland, I took the MIAS leadership course which started my obsession to become a better rider.
I have been lucky enough to travel to the Serria Nevada mountains in Spain and Les Get in the French Alps where my skills were pushed to the limit, after which I enrolled on a jumps and drops course run by the "Athertons" in Llangdegla, Wales. There's no better rush than to land your first drop or to complete your first decent - or to come home covered in mud from head to toe with a stupid grin on your face and see the missus' shocked expression. Priceless! From this point onwards I have been hooked on shredding the trails much to my wife's annoyance.
If you require mountain bike instruction or guiding let us teach you in a calm, professional and humourous time - I look forward to seeing you out on the trails soon, Jim.
